Reyna's songwriting is both deeply personal and universally appealing - her songs immediately resonate with the listener. The emotions and observations are clearly heartfelt and her simple but beautiful musical delivery creates even greater impact. No fabrication, every word counts, authentic and true !  ~ John Cadley, award winning songwriter

There is a feeling of open space in Reyna's songs.  Uncluttered.  Expansive.

Workshop Reviews:

Reyna is an extremely welcoming person and incredibly supportive of people's aspirations. Anybody that's trying to create something is always nervous about whether there's a place for it in the world, and Reyna always makes a place for it. ~S.B.

I want to thank Reyna and express my pleasure with her workshops.

The two biggest takeaways for me are:

1) People listen to live music not for perfection, but for the feelings and emotions it delivers.  This has allowed me more freedom to participate and to collaborate without feelings of inadequacy or incompetence. My guitar skills are basic, but I keep progressing and find pleasure in writing, playing and singing music.

2) People at different levels of playing ability can still collaborate effectively.  People have different strengths and can complement each other through cooperation.  I’m hoping to turn our next session into an opportunity to reach out more to share and collaborate with other participants.

Reyna's workshops are exactly the kind that should be available at the Earlville Opera House.  I hope to participate in others.  ~D.S.
